Come along to our cultural cooking event at Grow Speke
Published: 09 August 2023
Later this month we look forward to welcoming you to an exciting event at Grow Speke. On Tuesday 29 August from 11am till 1pm, we're hosting a cultural cooking event, whipping up traditional Eastern European and Singaporean dishes for volunteers and visitors to try and enjoy together.
Our aim is to bring people together in a common enjoyment of, and respect for, each other’s cultures, faiths, food and festivities.
Speke and Garston are areas of growing diversity, with families from many ethnicities and cultures choosing to make the area home. The event will embrace and celebrate the cultural diversity of our communities across Speke and Garston whilst helping create a greater understanding and appreciation of other cultures.
As part of the event, we would love to get your feedback on our services and the support we provide you. We will be asking attendees to complete a short survey, so we can get a greater understanding of how we can improve.
